David has been a partner at Victor Medical Centre since 1980. Interests outside of medicine include family, farming and viticulture, water sports, travel and doing locums in remote places.

Special interests incude: GP surgeon, GP obstetrician, skin surgery, asthma, diving medicine, mental health, travel medicine and emergency medicine.

Graham graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1987 and joined the Victor Medical Centre as a partner in 1992 after moving from Adelaide.

He is married with three boys. His interests outside of medicine include basketball, surfing and the Port Adelaide Football Club.

Special interests include: GP obstetrician, paediatrics and sports medicine.

Justin moved to Victor Harbor in 2000 to become a partner at Victor Medical Centre. He is married with three children.

Special interests include: General medicine, anaesthetist, epidurals, minor surgical procedures, sports and emergency medicine and using laughter as the best medicine.

Emily started at Victor Medical Centre in 2005 and returned to join as a partner in 2007.

She enjoys yoga, mountain bike riding and bushwalking and is married with three children.

Ross graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2003.

He trained as a GP at the Victor Medical Centre, the Riverland and the Northern Territory. He also completed a Diploma in child health at the Womens and Childrens hospital.

Ross joined the Victor Medical Centre as a partner in 2010, Married with two children. Enjoys hiking the Heysen Trail, cycling and listening to music.

Naomi graduated University of Adelaide in 2000. She worked in Darwin for a number of years before returning to South Australia.

Naomi started working at Victor Medical Centre as a registrar in 2006 and became a partner in 2010. Married with two children, she enjoys the beach, socialising and children.

Tim graduated from the University of London in 1997. He completed his post–graduate hospital and general practice training in the UK and Queensland.

Tim joined Victor Medical Centre as a partner in March 2010. He is married with two boys. He enjoys playing tennis and watching cricket.

Special interests include: Emergency medicine, ENT, hearing and balance problems.

She has a Diploma in Anaesthesia, Diploma in Child Health, Postgraduate Certificate in Travel Medicine and a Certificate in Sexual & Reproductive Health

She has worked extensively in regional South Australia and joined the Victor Medical Centre as a partner in 2011. She is married with three boys.

Special interests include: Women’s health, emergency medicine, anaesthetics, paediatrics and travel medicine.

Deus graduated from the University School of Medicine St Lucia, West Indies as a Doctor of Medicine in 2007.

He has studied in the USA and has worked in South Australia in city and rural public hospitals and in rural GP clinics.

Deus joined Victor Medical Centre as a partner in 2018. He enjoys spending time with his family and travelling.

Dr Samantha WeisbrodtMD BHSc DCH DRANZCOG FRACGP
Sam graduated from Flinders University with a Doctor of Medicine in 2016. She completed her internship and undertook further training in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology at the Lyell McEwin Hospital. After training in Naracoorte and Victor Harbor, Sam obtained her Fellowship of General Practice and jointed Victor Medical Centre as a partner in 2022.

She holds accreditation with the SA GP Obstetric Shared Care Program.

Born in the UK, Kate completed a BA with Honours from University of Oxford 2004 before completing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery MBChB from University of Manchester Medical School in 2010.

Further studies include an MA from University of Oxford in 2011 and in 2015, a Diploma of Child Health, University of Sydney.

She worked at the House Officer Stepping Hill Hospital in the UK, before arriving in Australia in 2012 where Kate has continued her training, completing rotations at the Mt Isa Base Hospital in Queensland and in South Australia at the Queen Elizabeth and Modbury Hospitals.

She undertook GP training at Victor Medical Centre as a GP Registrar between 2016 and 2018. Since gaining her Fellowship of the RACGP in 2019, she has been working part time at the Victor Medical Centre.

Andrew is a GP Registrar and has been at Victor Medical since February 2024. He moved to the Fleurieu in 2009 and completed his medical degree at Flinders University in 2020. He is interested in all aspects of general practice and enjoys spending time on his hobby farm when not at work.

<strong>Dr Paulo Balatbat</strong>

Paulo is a GP registrar undertaking his training with the RACGP. After completing University studies in Vancouver, Canada, he further pursued medical education and completed the degree Doctor of Medicine at Flinders University in 2021. He has worked in a variety of medical rotations including respiratory, upper GI surgery, emergency medicine, specialist advanced dementia unit and Paediatrics at Flinders Medical Centre, Lyell McEwin Hospital, Gawler hospital and South Coast District Hospital. Married and raising a toddler, he enjoys spending time with his family exploring nature, surfing, trail running, befriending farm and wild animals, and navigating the wonderous night sky.

<strong>Dr Michael Hood</strong>

Michael is a GP Registrar undertaking his GP training at Victor Medical Centre. He completed his medical degree at Flinders University in 2021. Prior to starting at VMC, he has been working in both tertiary and regional hospitals in SA. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a special interest in emergency medicine and children’s health. Outside of general practice, Michael enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family.
